Lalru (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), February 6, 2026:- Maintaining communal harmony with all-round development in Punjab is also the vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann so that Punjab can be taken to greater heights in terms of development. This was expressed by MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today at the inauguration of the foundation stone laying of the road from ITI to Kaulimajra. Talking to reporters on this occasion, he said that this road will be built by Municipal Council Lalru within about the next three months. This road will cost Rs 3 crore 12 lakh 78 thousand, for which the funds have been provided by the Municipal Council Lalru.
He said that the construction of this road will greatly benefit the people of the area. MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that it was a long-standing demand of the people that this road should be constructed, today this work has started today. He assured the residents of the area that such development works will change the image of the constituency and provide modern facilities to the people.
Addressing the people gathered from the surrounding villages on this occasion, he said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab is making progress in every field. Paying more attention to the field of education, along with improving the condition of the school buildings in the villages, new buildings are also being constructed and new teachers are being recruited, so that people give preference to educating their children in government schools. Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Clinics have been opened with a focus on the health sector and people are taking advantage of them.
The constituency MLA assured the people that all their demands would be fulfilled soon.
MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that since the enthusiasm and hope with which the people of Punjab brought the Aam Aadmi Party led by Bhagwant Singh Mann to power in Punjab, the entire cabinet and every worker and MLA of the party has been fulfilling their responsibility with dedication. Under the same, the work is being started by laying the foundation stone of the road from ITI to Kaulimajra today. The government has given this gift to the villagers on the occasion of the New Year. He said that development-oriented works are being given priority in the villages and cities without any bias and without any fight and the work of this road will also be completed within the stipulated time frame of about three months.
The entire party team, including the Municipal Council President, officials, the party's block president, councilors, and local ward residents, were also present at the groundbreaking ceremony of the road.
