Hansi: On the occasion of Children's Day, a bicycle distribution ceremony was held in the premises of the local Shivlal Singla Government Girls Senior Secondary School. Chief guest MLA Vinod Bhayana distributed bicycles to 89 female students under the Chief Minister's Girls Bicycle Scheme and, wishing the children a Happy Children's Day, presented them with a sum of ?21,000 for sweets.
Addressing the students, MLA Vinod Bhayana said that the state's daughters are bringing glory to Haryana through their hard work. Every Indian is proud of such promising daughters. He urged the students to work hard and fulfill their own and their parents' dreams. He emphasized that along with studies, one must also pursue a sport. Sports provide physical and mental strength. Concrete efforts will be made to provide a playground for this school. The central and state governments have implemented numerous schemes to empower women. Every eligible woman should take full advantage of these schemes.
The MLA stated that under the Chief Minister's Girls Bicycle Scheme, free bicycles are being provided to girls from Scheduled Caste families. He stated that he would soon discuss amending this scheme with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to ensure that all needy girls have access to bicycles.
The MLA announced that the school's prayer hall would be paved with colorful paver blocks to enhance the school's aesthetics. He wished the students a Happy Children's Day and presented them with ?21,000 for sweets. The students presented a wonderful cultural performance. The MLA praised the children's talent, stating that the girls of our area are full of talent. The school staff presented the MLA with a sapling as a memento, conveying the message of environmental protection to the citizens.
