Zirakpur (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), March 17: Constituency MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today inaugurated the development works of pipes and roads in Ward No. 17, Village Ghazipur, solving the long-standing problem of rainwater.
Giving information on the occasion, MLA Randhawa said that this project will be completed at a cost of about Rs. 1 crore, which will provide great relief to the residents of the area from the problems they face during the rainy days. He said that this development work will not only solve the problem of water drainage, but also improve the roads, making traffic much smoother.
The MLA said that the Punjab government is solving the problems related to basic amenities of the people on priority basis and development works are being carried out in every area at a fast pace.
On this occasion, councilors, block presidents of the party, presidents of various wings, the entire party team, officers of the Municipal Council and a large number of local ward residents were present.
