Hoshiarpur:- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today formally inaugurated the work of a tubewell to be installed at a cost of Rs 10 lakh in the new settlement village of Ghulam Hussain of the assembly constituency with the aim of providing clean drinking water facility to the villagers. On this occasion, he said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is working with commitment to provide basic facilities to every village of the state.
MLA Jimpa said that clean water is the fundamental right of every citizen and the installation of this tubewell will directly benefit hundreds of families of the new population of the village. He said that in the future also such development work will be done on priority basis so that the water supply in the area can be strengthened. During this, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa specially thanked the family Deepika Rani and Gurbaksh Ram who donated their private land for the tubewell.
He said that such social service steps are a source of inspiration for the entire village and the all-round development of the villages is possible only with collective cooperation. Pawan Sharma, Prem Chand, Sarpanch of village Thathalan Dharampal, Sarpanch Harmesh Lal, Shingara Ram, Panch Gursharan Das, Panch Ranjit Kaur, Panch Jaswinder Kaur, Rekha Rani, Panch Ram Piari, Parminder Kumar Lucky, Bishan Das, Rajan and other dignitaries were present during the program. All thanked the MLA for starting the development work and called it an important gift for the village.
