Hoshiarpur- MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated the repair and resurfacing work of the metal road going from Shani Dev Mandir to Almariwala Chowk. This work is being done at a cost of approximately Rs. 10.53 lakh.
MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the government is continuously striving for the development of Hoshiarpur city and the needs of every street, locality and ward are being given priority. He said that roads are the lifeline of any constituency and their improvement is very important for the convenience and safety of the people.
Jimpa said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is giving impetus to public interest works. Special attention is being paid to basic facilities like sewerage, street lights, development of parks and water in the city. He said that he is fulfilling the responsibility given by the public with full honesty and development is being given priority in every constituency.
The MLA appealed to the people to cooperate in the development works so that Hoshiarpur can be developed as a clean, beautiful and modern city.
Mayor Surinder Kumar, Councilors Lavkesh Ohri, Anurag Sood, Varinder Sharma, Sumesh Soni, Joginder Singh Raja, Municipal Corporation officials and local people were also present on the occasion.
