Hoshiarpur: MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the construction of a tubewell built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh in Ward No. 27, Mohalla New Deep Nagar of the city. On this occasion, he said that this tubewell will play an important role in resolving the water problem of the residents of the area and this will benefit the people a lot. 
MLA Jimpa said that there was a demand for a tubewell from the area, on which the work of the tubewell was started after the necessary approval. He said that the Punjab government is carrying out large-scale development works in every area so that every citizen can take advantage of basic facilities. He said that with this tubewell project, the people will benefit from the availability of water in the area. 
Praising Numbardar Avtar Singh Dhami who donated land for the tubewell project, MLA Jimpa said that the role played by such individuals in the development of infrastructure who contribute to social welfare works is always commendable. The residents of the area thanked the MLA and said that due to his hard work, the infrastructure facilities in the ward are developing rapidly. 
On this occasion, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Kulwinder Singh Hundal, Councilor Jaswant Kala, Pritam Das, Ravinder Lohia, Rajinder Malli, O.P. Luthra, Ravinder Ratan, Tirath Ram, Hans Raj, Lal Singh, Sudesh Rani, SS Bajwa, Joginder, Krishan Lal, Dalbir Kaur and other residents of the mohalla were also present.
