Hoshiarpur:- Giving a boost to the development work of the city, the Punjab government dedicated an important road project to the people in Ward No. 18 today. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the new road from Purhira Chowk to Gurdwara Sri Jahar Jahur Sahib. This road has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 39 lakh 67 thousand, due to which the residents of the area will get better transportation facilities.
On this occasion, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government is continuously working to strengthen the basic facilities in every ward of the city. He said that the construction of this road will bring great relief to the residents of Ward No. 18, because the people of the area were demanding a better road for a long time. Now with the completion of this road, the devotees going to Gurdwara Sri Jahar Jahur Sahib and the local residents will get the benefit of smooth transportation.
MLA Jimpa said that the state government is giving priority to development works as per the needs of the people and such works will continue for the development of the area in the coming times as well. He appealed to the local people to cooperate in the development works and assured that the basic facilities in all the wards of the city will be further improved.
