Hoshiarpur, July 30:- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa on Wednesday inaugurated the construction work of the community center in Tharoli village, fulfilling the long-standing demand of the villagers.
On this occasion, he said that the Punjab government is constantly striving for the all-round development of the villages and providing better basic facilities to the people. He said that with the construction of the community center, better facilities will be available for social, cultural and other public events in the village.
Before starting the construction work, MLA Jimpa paid obeisance at the Baba Vishwakarma temple located in the village and sought blessings. After this, he interacted with the villagers, listened carefully to their problems and development demands and directed the concerned officials to ensure necessary action on priority basis.
MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that his priority is to ensure equal development of every village in the constituency and ensure timely resolution of the problems of the people. He said that due to the cooperation and trust of the people, the pace of development works is continuously increasing and many important development projects will be started in the area in the coming time as well.
The villagers thanked MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa for starting the construction work of the community center and said that this will provide the people of the village with a better and convenient place for social and cultural events.
A large number of villagers, panchayat representatives and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
