Ambala, June 7:- Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Trust today organized a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Race Course Road, Ambala Cantonment. Haryana Transport, Energy and Labour Minister Anil Vij attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the blood donation camp by cutting the ribbon and encouraged the blood donors by presenting badges.
Cabinet Minister Anil Vij praised Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Trust for organizing blood donation camps here every year. He said that the selfless work of the trust for the welfare of humanity is worthy of imitation. He said that the work being done by the Nirankari organization in social and religious activities inspires others. Blood donation is the biggest donation in life. Every healthy person should donate blood. By donating blood, we can save precious lives. He also said that blood supply is possible only from the human body, there is no alternative to it. On this occasion, he announced to give an amount of Rs. 11,000 each to all voluntary blood donors.
On this occasion, Navtej Sethi, President of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Trust Ambala, welcomed the Cabinet Minister and informed that Sant Nirankari Mission has been continuously dedicated to serving humanity through blood donation campaigns since 1986. Till now, about 1.5 million units of blood have been donated through more than 9,174 blood donation camps across the country, making the Mission one of the largest voluntary blood donation campaigns in the country.
On this occasion, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Trust Ambala, President Navtej Sethi, Director Satish Sethi, Municipal Council President Swaran Kaur, Vice President Lalita Prasad, BJP office bearer Ajay Baweja and other dignitaries of the organization were present.
