Chandigarh, March 01:- Haryana Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam on Sunday gave a message of environmental conservation and cleanliness by planting a sapling at Huda Chowk in Sector-2, Palwal. This program was organized under the ‘Ek Peh Ma De Naam’ campaign called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through which every citizen was motivated to plant at least one sapling in honor of his mother.
On this occasion, Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam said that protecting the environment is the moral responsibility of all of us. He said that if every citizen plants a sapling and takes care of it regularly, then not only Palwal but the entire Haryana can become green and clean. He appealed to the youth, social organizations and common citizens to actively participate in this campaign.
During the program, Mr. Gautam also inaugurated the renovation (Jirnodhar) work of the magnificent entrance gate of Huda Chowk in Sector-2, Palwal. He said that with this work, the entrance of Palwal will be developed into a more attractive, well-decorated and dignified form. This initiative will not only beautify the city but will also give a new height to the identity of Palwal. He said that the development of the city is not limited to just infrastructure, but cleanliness, greenery and a clean environment are also equally important. Addressing the audience, he said that ‘Ek Peer Maa De Naam’ is not just a campaign, but a message of emotional connection and environmental conservation. If we all work together in this direction, then a clean and healthy environment can be given to the coming generations.
