Karnal, May 28:- Haryana's Minister for Development and Panchayats, Krishan Lal Panwar, serving as the Chief Guest, laid the foundation stone for a prayer and cultural assembly shed at the Arya Kanya Gurukul Senior Secondary School in Mor Majra, Karnal. On this occasion, the Minister expressed his delight regarding the Class 10 and 12 examination results and extended his congratulations to the students who secured merit positions, as well as to their parents. The ceremony, held within the school premises, witnessed the special presence of the Gurukul family, distinguished guests, and local citizens. Currently, approximately 2,500 students reside at the Gurukul while pursuing their education.
During the program, the President of the Gurukul, Sukhbir Singh Mann (Advocate), welcomed all the guests and stated that this shed would prove immensely beneficial for the holistic development of the students, as well as for conducting prayer assemblies and cultural activities. He highlighted that the Gurukul is continuously striving to shape a bright future for its students through a harmonious blend of Indian culture, Vedic teachings, and modern education.
Briefing Minister Krishan Lal Panwar on the school's outstanding academic performance, he informed the Minister that the school had secured the fifth position across the entire state of Haryana in the Class 10 examination results. Furthermore, six of the students featured in the top 10 merit list for Karnal district were from the Gurukul. Upon hearing of this achievement, Minister Krishan Lal Panwar extended his heartfelt best wishes to the Gurukul President, the entire staff, and the students, while also commending the Gurukul for its academic and cultural accomplishments.
Present on this occasion were several dignitaries, including members of the Gurukul's Executive Committee—Secretary Om Prakash Mann, Treasurer Narendra Singh, Joint Secretary Balwan Singh, and members Mehar Singh, Bhagwan Singh, and Narendra—along with other distinguished guests such as Krishan Dhanda, Dalip Singh Mann, Raj Saini, and Ram Singh.
