Hansi: On Tuesday, Superintendent of Police (SP) Hansi, Vinod Kumar, visited the Narnaund police station area with the objective of promoting environmental conservation and a greener environment. During his visit, he first inspected the Kheri Chopta police post to assess the arrangements and provided necessary guidelines to the officers and staff regarding better policing and public service.
Following this, the SP reached Narnaund Police Station, where he planted saplings alongside police officers, staff, villagers, and other dignitaries. On this occasion, he stated that environmental conservation is the greatest need of the hour, and every citizen should take a pledge to plant as many trees as possible and take care of them. He emphasized that trees not only keep the environment clean but also ensure a safe and healthy future for coming generations.
During the plantation drive, the villagers and police personnel present also pledged to actively participate in environmental conservation and to regularly care for the planted saplings.
After the plantation program, the SP reviewed the office management, cleanliness, and other arrangements at Narnaund Police Station. He issued instructions for the swift disposal of pending cases, maintaining effective law and order, and resolving public grievances on a priority basis.
Subsequently, the SP held a meeting with the Sarpanches (village heads) of the police station area to discuss police-public cooperation, the anti-drug campaign, the prevention of cybercrimes, and social participation. He stated that social evils like crime and drugs can only be effectively curbed through the joint efforts of society and the police.
On this occasion, Station In-charge Inspector Ramesh Kumar, Police Post In-charge Vinod Kumar, other police officers and staff, area Sarpanches, and village dignitaries were present.
