Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 16:- Under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) campaign being conducted as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, various activities are being continuously organized by the SVEEP team under the leadership of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal to create public awareness.
In this series, today, eminent painter, Presidential Awardee, and District Icon Gurpreet Singh Namdhari filled out his enumeration form at his workplace, Government High School, Landran, and appealed to the people to participate actively in this campaign.
On this occasion, he said, "Just as I paint beautiful pictures with colors, every citizen can paint an accurate and beautiful picture of democracy by filling out the enumeration form. The contribution of every eligible citizen is very important for the accuracy and transparency of the voter lists."
District Nodal Officer (SVEEP) Prof. Gurbakhshish Singh Antal stated that a large part of the enumeration form filing in the district has been successfully completed. He appealed to the residents of Mohali that eligible voters who have not yet filled out their enumeration forms should contact their BLO without delay or visit the designated center to ensure their forms are filled.
On this occasion, School Principal Manpreet Kaur Mangat appealed to the students and staff to motivate their eligible family members to fill out the enumeration forms.
During the event, students stood in lines to form an attractive human formation, conveying the message of SIR-2026, through which they inspired people to fill out enumeration forms and make the voter lists accurate and transparent.
