Chandigarh, September 12:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday chaired the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Redressal Committee held in Sirsa, where he heard public grievances related to various departments. Out of 16 complaints discussed in the meeting, 13 were resolved on the spot.
Vijay Kumar, a resident of Chhatrgarh Patti Anand Vihar, stated in his complaint that he had been allotted flat number 387 in Sector-21. He deposited the prescribed amount and an allotment letter was also issued, but he has not yet received physical possession of the flat. According to the complainant, basic facilities such as sewerage, water and electricity connections are also not available in the flat. The Chief Minister directed that, as per the complainant’s wish, the amount be refunded with interest and that the pendency of all pending refund cases be cleared within one month. The Chief Minister also directed that the negligence of any officer found responsible in the matter be investigated and action be ensured against the concerned official as per the rules.
Pawan Kumar stated in his complaint that his wife and children were allegedly assaulted and that despite a complaint being submitted to the police regarding the incident, effective action was not taken. The complainant alleged that instead of taking action against the accused in the matter, he and his family were being harassed. Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini directed that the statements of both parties be heard, the matter be investigated and necessary action be taken.
Ramgopal, a resident of village Kanwarpura, stated in his complaint that an insurance amount of approximately Rs. 76,960.31 had been deducted from his account under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, but he had not yet received the insurance claim for his cotton crop. The complainant said that other farmers in the village had already received the insurance amount. Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini directed the officials to seriously investigate the matter and ensure that the farmer receives the claim after resolving the technical issue.
Similarly, in another complaint, the disability certificate issued in the name of Krishna Devi was alleged to be fake. The complainant stated that the certificate bore the signatures of doctors of the Medical Board, while action was being taken in the matter by declaring the certificate fake. The complainant demanded an impartial inquiry into the certificate and appropriate action if it was found to be incorrect. Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini directed the Deputy Commissioner to conduct an inquiry against the officials who had kept the matter pending for one and a half years.
The complainant from Milk Society Di-Janata, village Kariwala, raised a complaint regarding the quality and payment of milk being sent through BMC to the Milk Plant Sirsa. According to the complainant, the milk was rejected on the grounds that it contained excessive caustic, and there were also problems regarding the process of taking back the milk and making payments. The complaint questioned the functioning of the concerned officers/employees and sought an inquiry into the matter. In this case, the Chief Minister directed strict action against the then CEO.
Anita Rani stated in her complaint that her husband Rajender Kumar and other family members were allegedly assaulted. According to the complaint, family members sustained injuries during the incident and were also threatened by the other party later. Despite the police investigation into the matter, the complainant alleged that appropriate action had not been taken and demanded action against the accused as per the rules. In this matter, the Chief Minister directed the Superintendent of Police (SP) to personally hear both parties and resolve the matter.
Chadht Singh, a resident of Sector-19, stated in his complaint that a problem regarding access had arisen after a house was constructed on their land. According to the complainant, there is no proper access to the house. A complaint had earlier also been submitted to the concerned authorities and orders had been issued to provide access, but the matter is still pending. The complainant demanded that proper access to his house be provided. In this matter, the Chief Minister directed that a committee headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner be constituted to investigate the matter.
Dr. Mohinder Bansal, a resident of Dabwali, raised a complaint seeking action against Municipal Council officials for uploading an incorrect ATR regarding the condition of trees during divider renovation in the grain market. The Chief Minister directed that all damaged plants currently planted be replaced and that a committee be constituted to investigate the matter.
Former Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Deputy Commissioner Shri Shantanu Sharma, former Member of Parliament Smt. Sunita Duggal, Chairman of Municipal Council Sirsa Shri Shanti Sarup, Chairman Shri Dev Kumar Sharma, Chairman Shri Rohtash Jangra, Chairman Shri Ramchandra Kamboj, former Political Adviser to the Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Chopra, along with administrative officers, were present at the meeting.
