Lehragaga/Sangrur, September 06:- The Aam Aadmi Party further expanded its political footprint in the Lehragaga assembly constituency as former Sarpanch Rajinder Singh, along with hundreds of Congress workers, parted ways with the Congress party to join AAP. This major political shift at the village level has provided fresh momentum to the ruling party.
Welcoming the new inductees, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal stated that the political landscape in Punjab is undergoing a significant shift. He remarked that people no longer seek mere slogans, but rather wish to see the meaningful impact of government decisions and welfare schemes in their daily lives. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, governance has shifted away from traditional political tactics toward addressing citizens' daily needs and real development.
Minister Goyal added that the growing influx of people joining AAP indicates that the public prioritizes deliverable work over empty promises. He emphasized that the government's aim is to extend the reach of development to the last lane of every village and ensure welfare benefits reach the most underprivileged. Welcoming the new members into the party fold, he noted that their joinings would bolster the party's organizational strength and public connect across the entire Lehragaga constituency, including Makror Sahib.
