Chandigarh, July 7:- The Haryana government has taken a big step towards strengthening the health infrastructure in the rural areas of the state. Reiterating the state government's commitment to provide best health facilities to rural areas, Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini has approved a total of 13 health institutions for Mahendragarh district. Under this, 12 new sub-health centers will be opened in the district, while one existing sub-health center will be upgraded to become a primary health center.
Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao, while informing about this decision, said, "The state government is fully committed to providing quality and modern health services to every citizen of the state, especially those living in rural areas, near their homes."
Rambas health centre to be upgraded
The Health Minister said that administrative approval has been given to upgrade the sub-health centre located in village Rambas in Mahendragarh district as a primary health centre to provide better treatment and OPD facilities to the rural population. With this upgradation, the local residents will no longer have to go to big cities for treatment of common diseases.
New sub-health centres will open in these 12 villages
In addition, the Chief Minister has approved the opening of new sub-health centres in villages Chhapra Salimpur, Kanina, Chhilro, Mundia Khera, Bharf, Morund, Nain, Rai Malikpur, Musnota, Chandpura, Nangal Nunia and village Seka in Mahendragarh district itself.
There will be a revolutionary change in rural health services
Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that with the opening of the said new health centers, people living in remote villages of Mahendragarh district will not have to travel far for primary treatment, vaccination, mother-child care and other basic health services. The government aims that no citizen should be deprived of basic health benefits.
He said that this step of the government will not only improve the medical infrastructure of Mahendragarh district, but also a major improvement will be seen in the quality of rural health services with employment and deployment of health workers at the local level. Local villagers have welcomed this decision of the government and thanked the Chief Minister and the Health Minister.
