Garhshankar, September 10:- The Garhshankar Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplant Society works to provide vision to the visually impaired and promote body donation. Dr. Nirmal Kumar, Senior Medical Officer, Binewal, Garhshankar, donated Rs 25,000 on the death anniversary of his father, Shri Mohan Lal Ji, in his memory, so that someone in need could regain vision in his memory.

Bahl, President; Dr. Tarsem Singh, Chairman, Body Donation Committee; Professor Daljit Singh, General Secretary; Shri Mahajan, Cashier; Shri Kanwar, Motivator; Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar, President, Garhshankar Unit; Bhupinder Singh, General Secretary; Okar Singh Chehalpuri, Secretary; Rajan Salan, Cashier; Ramandeep Singh, Office; and Ajayab Singh Bopa Rai, Secretary.
On behalf of the organisation, Shri J.B. Bahl and Dr. Tarsem Singh thanked Dr. Nirmal Singh for this great philanthropic contribution. With the support of donors, the organisation has so far restored vision to 4,174 people by facilitating corneal transplants. This service is continuing uninterrupted.
