Patiala, July 7:- The Punjabi Sahit Sabha (Regd.), Patiala, is organizing an event dedicated to the renowned Punjabi writer Dalip Singh Uppal on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lecture Hall of the Language Department, Punjab, Patiala.
Sabha President Dr. Darshan Singh 'Asht' and General Secretary Davinder Patialvi stated that Mr. Alok, Deputy Director of the Language Department, Punjab, Patiala, will be the Chief Guest, and Er. Jaspal Singh Desuvi, President of the World Punjabi Sahitak Vichar Manch (Regd.), Mohali, will preside over the event. The Special Guest of the program will be Dr. Bhim Inder Singh, Director of the World Punjabi Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala.
During the event, the mini-story collection "Anubhav," authored by Mohinder Singh Jaggi, will be released. The keynote paper on the book will be presented by Dr. Tarlochan Kaur, former Head of the Punjabi Department at Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala. Dr. Harpreet Singh Rana, Dr. Inderpal Kaur, and Raghbir Singh Mahimi will participate in the discussion on the book.
Patrons of the Sabha, Babu Singh Rehal, Sukhdev Singh Shant, Finance Secretary Balbir Singh Dildar, Publicity Secretary Navdeep Singh Mundi, and the entire executive committee have appealed to all writers and literature enthusiasts to attend the event.
