Karnal, November 22: Mihir Banerjee, an academician from Karnal and an interview mentor who energizes youth, has received a special invitation to participate in the Sardar Unity 150 March being held in Gujarat. This march is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat.
150 eminent personalities from across the country have been selected for this march. This will be the country's first national-level march, in which participants will walk approximately 150 kilometers. Mihir Banerjee has been selected as the youth mentor.
This march will commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, starting on November 26th and continuing until December 6th. The march will begin from Karmasad, Sardar Patel's birthplace, and conclude at the Statue of Unity (on the banks of Sardar Sarovar). This yatra will pass through Anand, Vadodara, and Narmada districts.
Mihir Banerjee stated that the motto of this padayatra is "Strong India - Self-Reliant India." During the yatra, there will be reflection on building a developed, powerful, and self-reliant India.
He has played a significant role in numerous campaigns related to social reform, environmental protection, female foeticide, child labor, and Beti Bachao (Save the Girl Child). Under his guidance, many young people are serving in the army, administration, police, and judicial services.
