Karnal, November 25: A team formed under the leadership of District Police Crime Investigation Branch Assandh Incharge Sulinder Singh, led by Sub Inspector Dalsher Singh, arrested the main accused of the gang, Bhajanlal son of Hukumchand, resident of Kallar Bhaini, Hisar, on production warrant from Bhondsi Jail, Gurugram.
Informing in this regard, the Investigating Officer said that on the basis of the complaint of complainant Sushil Kumar, case number 3 dated 3/01/2021 was registered in Police Station Nising under sections 395/397/427/506 of IPC.
In the above case, the complainant stated that on January 2, 2021, after conducting a recce of the warehouse in the afternoon, the accused and his accomplices entered the paddy warehouse of Shubham Logistics Company, Kuchpura Nising, Karnal, assaulted him with sticks, snatched his licensed weapon, stole approximately 315 sacks of paddy from the warehouse, and then fled the scene.
Taking action in this case, the investigating unit obtained seven days' police remand from the Honorable Court for in-depth interrogation of the accused. Preliminary investigation revealed that, in addition to the above case, approximately 50 cases of theft, robbery, dacoity, and snatching are registered against the accused in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and other states.
The accused will be interrogated during remand to identify other accomplices involved in this case and the matter will be revealed.
