Karnal, December 12: The district police's Anti-Auto Vehicle Theft Staff team, under the leadership of Team In-charge Inspector Inder Singh, has successfully cracked five two-wheeler theft cases and arrested three accused, recovering a total of five stolen vehicles. The first three cases were being investigated by ASI Krishan Kumar at Gharaunda and Tarawadi police stations.
Based on a tip-off, the police team apprehended accused Ricky, son of Gulab Singh, a resident of Saidpur village, from Sector-16 Dussehra Ground in Karnal and recovered three stolen motorcycles from his possession. The remaining two cases were being investigated by Sub-Inspector Rakesh Kumar at Sector 32/33 and Karnal City police stations.
In these cases, the police arrested Simran, son of Gulzar Singh, and Vikram Singh, son of Amrik Singh, residents of Gurunanakpura Pingli Chowk, Karnal, and recovered one motorcycle and one Activa scooter from their possession. After completing the necessary procedures in all five cases, the police produced the three accused before the honorable court today and sent them to the district jail.
