Karnal, January 14: Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan today visited the under-construction NCC Academy in Araipura village of Gharaunda constituency along with officials. He inquired about the progress of the construction work and the future plans. He also discussed the staff to be appointed there in the future with the officials of the Higher Education Department. 
Mr. Kalyan was interacting with reporters after visiting the under-construction NCC Academy today. He said that the NCC Academy project is very important. It is a matter of good fortune for the people of the constituency that its construction is being done in Araipura village. The pace of construction was affected during the COVID-19 pandemic, but now the work is progressing rapidly. Every possible effort is being made to make the NCC Academy operational in the near future. 
He said that the NCC Academy will play a significant role in further strengthening the spirit of discipline and patriotism among the youth. Every individual must ensure their contribution in making India a developed nation. Every person works hard to progress in life. That hard work should also contribute to nation-building. The youth too must work diligently, with discipline and good values. The government is also working seriously in this direction. 
Mr. Kalyan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is touching new heights. The system in Haryana has also improved considerably. Equal development is underway in every sector of the state. Gharaunda constituency has witnessed significant development in the last ten years. A strong foundation for development has been laid. Work is underway on major projects like the Medical University, Ring Road, and the NCC Academy. 
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar, SDM Rajesh Soni, BDPO Somveer Khatkar, Anjali Siwach and Deepika from the Higher Education Department, Major Prof. Anita June from the Higher Education Department, Dr. Deepa Dhull, Vice-Principal of Bastara College, Rajkumar Paliwal, Chairman of Market Committee Gharaunda, Mandal President Rohit Bhandari, and officials from the PWD department were present.
