Rahon:- Dedicated to the 650th Great Gurpurab of Begum Pura's dreamer, revolutionary leader Sahib-e-Kamal Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji and in the warm memory of social worker Shri Mati Navjot Kaur Bharti Ji, 'Jyot Social Awareness and Welfare Society' is organizing awareness camps at various places under the 'Public Interest Awareness Campaign' in collaboration with National Labor Organization (NLO).
In this series, recently, the society organized an awareness camp in village Karyam under the leadership of Documentation Officer Kumari Simranjot Kaur Bharti in collaboration with Gram Panchayat. On this occasion, the convener of National Labor Organization (NLO), Baldev Bharti State Awardee, specially rendered services.
He emphasized that according to the message of the humanitarian Gurbani of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, being aware of one's duties and rights is one's real power. During this camp, information was given from various aspects to strengthen the needy villagers who attended in large numbers on the ground economically.
On this occasion, applications were also sent to the Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Nawanshahr, by 87 MGNREGA workers for employment. On this occasion, social workers Narinder Kumar, Sarpanch Manjit Kaur, Panch Jaswinder Kaur, Panch Neelam Rani, Gian Chand, Mahinder Pal, Inderjit Singh, Romi, Kuldeep Badhan, Sunita Rani, Asha Rani and Manjit Kaur were specially present.
