Haryana/Panchkula: Led by OP Sihag, Panchkula District President of the Jananayak Janata Party, senior JJP Panchkula officials, including Kiran Poonia, State Incharge of the Women's Cell, KC Bhardwaj, State Vice President, Surinder Chadda, Office Secretary, and Rajesh Nishad, JJP Panchkula Constituency President, visited the Deputy Commissioner's office today.
and, in the Deputy Commissioner's absence, submitted a memorandum to Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav regarding the inclusion of Rajesh Nishad, councilor from Ward No. 9 of the Jananayak Janata Party, in accordance with the rules, in the ad hoc committee to be formed for ward demarcation in the Panchkula Municipal Corporation.
It is noteworthy that the Haryana government's Urban Local Bodies Department recently issued an order to include only five BJP councillors in the ad hoc committee. Following strong opposition from the JJP and other parties, the government has now rescinded this decision, which is the right decision.
Submitting a memorandum to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, JJP District President OP Sihag said, "Please send our memorandum along with your recommendations to the government, demanding that the newly formed ad hoc committee be formed in accordance with the provisions of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Wards Rules, 1994.
This includes the existing councillors from all political parties, and our party's councillor from Ward No. 9 of Panchkula Municipal Corporation, Rajesh Nishad, should also be included."
