Kharar: The literary organization Sahitak Sath Kharar is organizing the launch of a unique book, "Akashvani De Sahitak Sitare," authored by its president and writer, Jaswinder Singh Kainaur, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Kharar.
The organization's General Secretary, Pyara Singh Rahi, and Patron, Dr. Harnek Singh Kaler, jointly informed that Mrs. Poonam Amrit Singh, Director, All India Radio, Chandigarh, will be the chief guest at the ceremony, and Mr. Mohammad Imtiaz, Program Head, All India Radio, Patiala, will be the special guest.
A paper on the book will be presented by Dr. Gurwinder Singh Balara, Associate Professor, CGC University, Jhanjeri (Mohali). Writers from several All India Radio stations in Punjab and Chandigarh will also be attending. Poetry recitations by the attending poets will also be featured. Literature enthusiasts are cordially invited.
