Ambala, May 17:- Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij has reacted sharply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak case. He said that these days, hasty demands for resignation have become a "common practice" in politics. It is easy to stand up and demand someone's resignation, but it is difficult to show by doing.
Minister Vij was answering questions from media personnel in Ambala today.
Defending Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Vij said that he is one of the most capable and hardworking ministers of the Union government. As soon as this incident came to light, the Union government took immediate action. Investigating agencies are continuously taking action and the culprits are being arrested and sent to jail. He said that the government is completely serious about this matter and no culprit will be spared.
Regarding the questions raised by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign trips, Anil Vij said that Bhagwant Mann may not understand the purpose of the Prime Minister's foreign trips. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi travels abroad in the national interest to strengthen India's international relations, increase trade and strengthen India's position in the world. He said that some people comment on foreign trips only for political reasons while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working in the national interest. Vij asked, "Does the opposition want the Prime Minister to stay at home and not go abroad to strengthen the country's foreign relations?" He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership has taken India's global image to new heights. Anil Vij said that whatever the challenges, the country is in safe hands. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has successfully faced a major challenge like the Covid-19 pandemic. Apart from this, the Prime Minister's visionary thinking and strong leadership in many difficult situations including Operation Sindoor have taken the country forward with strength. Vij said that despite the current global situation and war-like situations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fully capable of navigating every challenge safely. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India will not only remain safe but will also emerge as a strong nation in the world.
