Ambala, March 21:- Ambala police has achieved a major success by arresting a cunning interstate fraudster who cheated a youth of Rs 15 lakhs by promising to send him abroad. The accused has been identified as Shiv Kumar, a resident of village Handesra, district Mohali, Punjab.
Prince Kumar, a resident of Devi Nagar (Ambala city), had filed a complaint with the police on March 2, 2025 that the accused lured him by showing him dreams of sending him abroad and after luring him with his promises, cheated him of a total of Rs 15 lakhs between April 1, 2025 and May 31, 2025. After taking the amount, the accused neither sent him abroad nor returned the amount.
The Sadar Ambala Police took action and arrested the accused from Defence Colony of Ambala Cantonment and on the orders of the court, he has been sent to judicial custody.
