Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, Garhshankar celebrated International Mathematics Day under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira by the Mathematics Department of the college. On this occasion, Dr. Yashpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Mathematics Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala participated as a resource person.
Dr. Yashpreet Kaur addressed the students and made them aware about the role of mathematics in science and technology. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira gave the welcome speech and highlighted the importance of International Mathematics Day. In the beginning, Dr. Preetinder Singh introduced the students to the resource purse.
