Ferozepur:- In connection with her valuable contribution to the famous heritage of Punjab in the field of folk dances of Punjab for three decades, the state level event of Punjab, Ferozepur, the queen of Gidhya, international artist Madam Satvir Kaur Dhaliwal was honored with the State Award 2026 by the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann.
It is worth mentioning that international artist Satvir Kaur Dhaliwal has organized hundreds of folk dance training camps through Bagga Folk Dance Academy and has prepared thousands of students and encouraged them towards art and has performed art in 300 state level fairs and more than a dozen international fairs in the top cities and metropolises of the country many times.
Nowadays, North Zone Cultural Center (Government of India) and ICCI Delhi are serving the famous heritage of Punjab and Punjabi mother tongue by organizing camps and tours. Sharing happiness on this occasion, he said that this award is in the name of all the thousand students of Bagga Folk Dance Academy who learned Kalan from my academy and performed Kalan in the country and abroad, and brought glory to the famous heritage of Punjab.
