Haroli/Una, April 7 (Rajveer Chopra): The Department of Business Management at Indus International University organized an industrial visit for its students. During this visit, students toured Modulus Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd., located in Gondpur Jaichand, where they gained a close-up understanding of industrial operations and production processes.
A total of 50 students from various disciplines—including MBA, BBA, BCom, BVoc, MSc (Chemistry & Mathematics), and Pharmacy—participated in this visit. They were accompanied by faculty members from the university. Prior to the visit, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar Bahl and Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Jagdev Singh Rana addressed the students, motivating them and highlighting the significance of practical knowledge.

During the visit, the students were taken on a tour of the factory's various plants and provided with detailed information regarding the production process. The company primarily manufactures soap noodles (raw material for soap), edible oils, household cleaning products, and laundry soaps.
The entire soap manufacturing process—from the raw material stage to final packaging—was explained to the students in a step-by-step manner. Additionally, the company management organized an interactive session to gather feedback and suggestions from the students regarding their experience.
Describing the industrial visit as highly informative and beneficial, the students expressed their gratitude to both the university and the company management. Indus International University, in turn, extended its thanks to the company management for facilitating this successful event.
