New Delhi:- IndiGo has cancelled more than 400 flights from four major airports on Saturday. Sources said that the new flight duty rules and rest period rules prescribed by the court were fixed but in view of the crisis, some relief has been given to the airlines in its second phase.
He said that out of these, 124 flights have been cancelled at Bengaluru airport, 109 flights at Mumbai airport, 106 flights at Delhi airport and 66 flights at Hyderabad airport. A day before this, IndiGo had cancelled more than 1,000 flights from various airports. After this, IndiGo CEO Peter Albers issued a video message apologizing for the huge inconvenience caused to the passengers.
The crisis of IndiGo airline did not subside on Saturday. Today, a large number of IndiGo flights have been canceled at many airports across the country. Due to this, thousands of passengers are stranded at the airports of Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati and Hyderabad. The maximum number of 106 flights have been canceled at Delhi airport today.
Airport officials confirmed that 54 outgoing and 52 incoming flights of IndiGo have been canceled till Saturday morning. There was a huge crowd at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. During this, long queues were also formed outside the airport.
