New Delhi: The Civil Aviation Ministry said that IndiGo's flights from six major domestic airports were affected in the past few days. Sources said that IndiGo has cancelled over 70 flights on Wednesday, including flights from Bengaluru and Mumbai airports. This has been done mainly due to crew shortage.
Sources said that several IndiGo flights were delayed at various airports as the airline is struggling with crew shortage to operate its flights. An IndiGo spokesperson said that several flights have either been cancelled or delayed in the last few days.
There are several reasons for this, including technology issues, congestion at airports and various operational issues, which have led to delays in flights, but this problem is being resolved soon.
It is worth mentioning that after the implementation of the second phase of FDTL rules, IndiGo is facing a severe shortage of crew, due to which its operations are facing severe delays at airports.
