Una, December 29: Under the Government of India's TB-Free India campaign, Indian Oil's Northern Region Pipelines Una has undertaken a unique initiative by donating 120 Ni-Kshay Mitra nutrition kits to TB patients at the Regional Hospital Una.
Giving this information, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Verma said that these kits contain essential protein and energy-rich food items in accordance with the standards prescribed under the National TB Elimination Program, which is a crucial factor in ensuring proper nutrition and continued treatment for TB patients.
He expressed gratitude to Indian Oil Northern Region Pipelines, stating that they have demonstrated their commitment to community health and national health missions. He added that this initiative will further strengthen collaboration between public health institutions and corporate social responsibility efforts. Furthermore, this effort will serve as an inspiration for public participation in achieving the goal of a TB-free India.
These kits were handed over to Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Verma by Amandeep Bhardwaj, Station In-charge, and Anchit Gupta, Operations Manager, of Northern Region Pipelines Una. Medical Superintendent Dr. Sanjay Mankotia and District TB Officer Dr. Vishal Thakur were also present on the occasion.
