Chandigarh - Today in the Moscow region of Russia, a delegation sent by the Government of India, including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab Vice President Rajesh Bagha, state panelist Gurdeep Singh Gosha, and Uday Sood of Pathway Global Alliance, held a joint meeting with Manuilov, Deputy Head of the Moscow Government's Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations, and Daria Pustovalova, a diplomat with the same department. The meeting focused on exploring potential opportunities to strengthen trade relations between the two countries and encouraging both governments to promote import-export capabilities. According to the Indian government's approach, Indian entrepreneurs are encouraged to promote their domestic products in global markets by understanding and adapting to international trade practices.
This approach places the responsibility on producers to increase their production in line with global demand.
Impressed by this approach, Manuilov and Pustovalova commended the vision of the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and expressed keen interest in India's skilled craftsmanship and the traditional and cultural products produced by Indian artisans. Gurdeep Singh Gosha shared his views on Punjab, the land of the Gurus, and spoke about Sikh history and the administrative and trade systems under Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
He explained that the internationally renowned Silk Road, now part of modern transportation systems, was operational during the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Gosha emphasized the need to improve Punjab's agricultural system to keep pace with global market demands and stressed the importance of connecting with Punjab's farmers to secure the future of the next generation.
