Hansi:– Under the guidance of District Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal, special emphasis was laid on solving the problems of citizens on priority basis in the Samadhan Camp organized on Monday in the local District Secretariat complex. In the camp, CTM Himanshu Chauhan seriously listened to the complaints and problems of the general public and instructed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure prompt and time-bound action in each case. He said that the purpose of Samadhan Camp is to effectively and quickly resolve the problems of common citizens at one place and no kind of negligence will be accepted in it.
During the camp, Babita, resident of village Sisay Bolan, submitted an application regarding land mutation. Taking cognizance of the matter, the CTM instructed the officers of the Revenue Department to complete the necessary formalities quickly and complete the process of land mutation immediately, so that the applicant does not have to make unnecessary rounds of offices.
Similarly, a citizen of village Kulana kept a complaint of leakage in the drinking water supply pipeline. CTM Himanshu Chauhan instructed the officers of the Public Health Engineering Department to immediately reach the spot and inspect and repair the pipeline leakage and keep the drinking water supply smooth.
In the camp, a complaint regarding non-availability of cover on open manhole of sewerage line in city area also came up. On this, CTM gave clear instructions to the officers of Public Health Engineering Department that sewerage hole should not remain open anywhere in the city. If at any place the cover is broken or missing, it should be immediately replaced with a new cover, so that the safety of the general public can be ensured and there is no possibility of any untoward incident.
CTM Himanshu Chauhan said that ensuring quality and time-bound solution of every complaint received in Samadhan Camp is the responsibility of all departments. He expected from the officers that they should act with sensitivity on every complaint and not show any laxity in providing relief to the citizens.
