If the money of the ASHA workers is not paid on time by Saturday a massive protest will be held at POSI on Monday June 8

Garhshankar:- The ASHA workers union CITU had already brought the matter to the notice of the department regarding the demand letter submitted at POSI that there is a need to discuss the pending money of the ASHA workers. Following which, the delegation of the organization, President Joginder Kaur, Secretary Binderpal Kaur, Balwinder Kaur, Surjit Kaur, ASHA Rani, Satmeet Kaur and other ASHA workers went to POSI.
Where it was found that SMO Sahib and Deputy Speaker Jai Kisan Singh have gone to the Rawdi office. Due to which there was huge protest among the ASHA workers. Following which slogans were raised by the ASHA workers. After this, the demand letter was taken from Dr. Maria and she assured to pay the money soon.
The organization also took its stand and said that if the entire dues are not cleared within a week, then a massive protest will be held at POSI on 8/6/26. The responsibility of which will be the Health Department. On this occasion, Satmeet Kaur, Balwinder Kaur, Monika Rani, Balvir Kaur, Rekha Sunita and Satya shared their views. The Health Department assured to deposit the entire dues in the account soon.
