Dhariwal:- News of a very tragic road accident has been received in the nearby town of Naushera Majha Singh on the Amritsar-Pathankot National Highway this morning. In this horrific accident, four youths travelling in the car died on the spot. According to the information received, the accident was so terrible that the parts of the car were blown off and the bodies were badly trapped inside the vehicle.
According to the information received, an Alto car with Pathankot registration number was going towards Amritsar from Dhariwal side this morning. When this car reached Naushera Majha Singh, it collided with a heavy unknown vehicle on the highway. As soon as the information about the accident was received, ASI Daljit Singh of the Road Safety Force reached the spot along with his fellow employees and took stock of the situation. He said that there was no other vehicle present at the spot except the car that was involved in the accident, from which it is being speculated that the driver of the vehicle that hit the car fled the spot. As soon as the news of the accident was received, ASI Baljit Singh, in-charge of the police post Naushera Majha Singh under the respective police station Sekhwan, reached the spot along with a police party. The police, with the help of the local people, pulled out the bodies of the four youths who were badly stuck in the car after much difficulty. The police took action and sent the bodies to the Civil Hospital Batala for postmortem.
