Abohar:- A painful road accident in Abohar late Sunday night left everyone shaken. A speeding car lost control on Hanumangarh Road and hit the divider, killing 3 youths and seriously injuring 2 others.
The deceased have been identified as Uday (24), Vishal (22) and Raman (22). The tragic thing is that Uday and Vishal were brothers and were the only sons of their parents. Raman was their aunt's son. All these youths were returning after finalizing the deal to buy a kinnu orchard contract.
According to information, the accident took place at around 1:15 am when the car was going down the bridge at a high speed. The impact was so severe that the front part of the vehicle was blown off. Two youths died on the spot. Police have sent the bodies to the Civil Hospital for postmortem and the injured have been referred to Faridkot. Police are currently investigating the matter to ascertain whether the accident was due to brake failure or speeding.
