Patiala: In a case involving fraud amounting to lakhs or crores of rupees, the court of Honorable Additional Judge Ravi Gulati has granted regular bail to Harvinder Singh, son of Harmesh Singh (a resident of Village Hari Nagar Khedki) and a partner in 'Sardar Agrotech Sheller' located in Village Kulburchan.
According to defense counsel Harpreet Singh Sodhi, FIR No. 121 was registered against the accused, Harvinder Singh, based on a complaint filed by Jagjit Singh, son of Sukhdev Singh (a resident of Village Mana, District Sangrur). The complainant alleged that the two had been working as partners at Sardar Agrotech Sheller from 2007 to 2022, and during this period, Harvinder Singh had embezzled funds and committed fraud amounting to lakhs or crores of rupees in the business.
In this regard, an FIR was registered against the accused, Harvinder Singh, at the Sadar Samana Police Station under Sections 316(2), 318(4), and 351 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
