Chandigarh, September 16:- Haryana Health, Ayush and Medical Education Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that only healthy citizens can realise the dream of building a ‘Developed India’. Therefore, she appealed to every citizen to take care of their health and stay away from narcotic substances and other forms of addiction.
The Health Minister was addressing a public meeting in Maheshwari village of Rewari district on Wednesday. She said that Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini has launched the ‘Drug-Free Haryana Campaign’, under which a major marathon was recently organised in Rewari. She appealed to every citizen of the district to actively contribute towards making Haryana drug-free.
Aarti Singh Rao said that under the vision of ‘Non-Stop Haryana’, the Chief Minister has accelerated the pace of development and undertaken development works worth crores of rupees in all districts, which have also benefited southern Haryana.
She said that immediately after taking oath as Chief Minister, Shri Nayab Singh Saini started free dialysis facilities in all district hospitals. Under his leadership, government hospitals are being equipped with modern medical equipment to strengthen healthcare services. The Health Department is now providing better health services to citizens than before.
On the occasion, the Health Minister inaugurated development works worth Rs 40 lakh in Maheshwari village.
Later, Aarti Singh Rao heard the grievances of villagers in Mirpur village and directed the concerned officials to resolve their problems.
