Ferozepur, 19 August:- Central team sent by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India today visited Office of Civil Surgeon. Two-member team comprising Deputy Director Diksha Sachdeva of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Junior Statistical Officer Shesh Kumar Maurya held meeting with all Senior Medical Officers, Medical Officers and Para-Medical Staff of district at Office of Civil Surgeon.
Deputy Director Diksha Sachdeva told that team will monitor data entered on portals related to Non-Communicable Diseases, Birth and Death and IDSP programmes. By reaching District Hospital and various Community Health Centres information will be obtained about quality of health services, services being received by patients, maintenance of records. Suggestions will be given by team about reaching health services to people in more better and effective manner and efforts being made by Health Department. On this occasion Diksha Sachdeva told that on basis of this data only Central Government gets help in making health-related policies.
On this occasion Civil Surgeon Dr. Meenakshi Dhingra and Dr. Sushma Thakkar Assistant Civil Surgeon held detailed discussion with central team regarding Non-Communicable Disease Programme, Birth Death and IDSP programmes running in district.
On this occasion officials of Health Department and other concerned employees were also present.
