Chandigarh, October 22:- The Haryana State AIDS Control Society (HSACS), functioning under the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will seek assistance from registered non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs) to implement Care Support Services across the state.

This initiative is being launched as a community-based intervention under the National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NACP), with support from the Domestic Budget Grant. Its primary objective is to provide outreach services and support continuity of treatment for people living with HIV (PLHIV).

An official spokesperson said the scheme would be implemented in two major clusters in the state: the Faridabad Cluster, comprising Faridabad, Mahendragarh, Gurugram, Nuh, Rewari and Palwal districts, and the Kurukshetra Cluster, comprising Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Kaithal and Sonipat districts. Following selection, the participating organisations will be responsible for identifying and tracking patients who have interrupted treatment; tracking newly identified patients until their first viral load test and providing outreach services; tracking scheduled viral load tests; counselling patients with high viral loads; providing care to HIV-positive pregnant women and their children; and linking eligible patients with social security schemes.

The spokesperson said applications had been invited from NGOs and CBOs for this work. Interested and eligible organisations can submit their applications along with all required self-attested documents in PDF format, in both hard-copy and soft-copy formats, by 5:00 p.m. on November 20, 2026. Applications can be sent to [email protected] and [email protected]. The eligibility criteria, guidelines and specimen Letter of Intent are available on the official websites haryanahealth.gov.in and haryanasacs.in.
