Chandigarh, September 16:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that on September 17, the entire state of Haryana will pay tribute to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service dedicated to the nation. He said that the Prime Minister’s journey of public service teaches us that true leadership is identified not by position, but by service and dedication. He said that with this objective, it has been decided to observe the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ across the country. Through this campaign, tribute will be paid to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service in a public life dedicated to the nation.
Referring to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s special emotional bond with Haryana, the Chief Minister said that as Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has visited Haryana 18 times so far, and during these visits, the state has received development projects worth more than Rs 86,000 crore. On this special occasion, respect for the Prime Minister’s journey of service will be expressed through public participation in the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ programme across the state.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to light the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ at their respective homes between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on September 17. He said that the lamp will symbolise their good wishes for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s good health and long life, as well as their tribute to his 25 years of public service.
