Chandigarh, August 24:- Haryana Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda is seen in full action mode to strengthen the government education system of the state and bring comprehensive reforms at the ground level in government schools. With the aim of strengthening the infrastructure in the government educational institutions of the state and bringing administrative power, the Education Minister is taking stock of the situation by going down to the ground himself.
In this context, on Monday, the Education Minister conducted a surprise inspection of three government schools of the state. He first visited the Government Primary School and Government High School located in Raipur Rodan village of Nilokheri area of ??Karnal district. After this, he reached 'PM Shree' Government Senior Secondary School, Shaha, Ambala. During the inspection, the Minister thoroughly reviewed the cleanliness of the school complexes, basic facilities like drinking water and toilets as well as administrative arrangements.
**Direct interaction with Sarpanches, SMCs and students
During the inspection, Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda took a new and sensitive initiative. He called the Panches and Sarpanches of the respective villages on the spot so that the local level problems could be discussed immediately. After this, the Minister went to the SMCs and each class and had a direct interaction with the students and sought detailed information from them about the level of education, availability of books and other problems.
The Education Minister on the spot directed that the problems which can be solved at the Panchayat or Sarpanch level should be solved immediately with the cooperation of the local administration and Panchayat. At the same time, the Minister assured that the issues which come under the jurisdiction of the Education Department would be resolved as soon as possible on priority basis.
**Plan for the rejuvenation of 1500 government schools
Meanwhile, the Education Minister said that the Education Department of Haryana is fully committed to developing the government schools of the state as model educational institutions. For this, the department has prepared a detailed and phased plan.
In the first phase of the plan, 1500 government schools of the state have been identified, where better educational environment, modern infrastructure and necessary equipment will be provided. After the completion of this first phase, all other government schools will also be renovated in a phased manner so that quality education can be ensured in government schools like private schools.
**Strict stance on negligence and emphasis on cleanliness
Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda instructed the departmental officers that no kind of laxity or negligence will be tolerated in the operation of government educational institutions. While interacting with the teachers and principals, he said that teachers should discharge their responsibility with full loyalty and dedication. He directed to take special care of cleanliness in schools and said that a clean environment is the basis for the all-round development of children.
**Education Minister who has gone to the ground
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Mahipal Dhanda has emerged as the first Education Minister of the state, who is personally inspecting government schools on the ground and ensuring solutions to problems on the spot. This attitude of the minister is setting a new direction for ground-breaking changes in the education sector.
Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda has recently made surprise inspections of 3 government colleges and 5 government schools of the state. With these continuous visits, accountability has increased among the officers and employees of the education department, while the trust of the general public and students towards the government education system is strengthening.
