Karnal, 24 August:- Haryana Education Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda is seen in full action mode to strengthen the government education system of the state and bring about comprehensive improvement at the ground level in government schools. With the aim of strengthening the infrastructure in the government educational institutions of the state and bringing administrative tightness, the Education Minister himself is going to the ground and taking stock of the situation.
In this series, on Monday, the Education Minister conducted a surprise inspection of the Government Primary School and Government High School located in Raipur Rodan village of Nilokheri area of Karnal district. During the inspection, the Minister made a detailed observation of basic facilities like cleanliness of school premises, drinking water and toilets as well as administrative arrangements.
**Direct dialogue with Sarpanches, SMC and students
During the inspection, Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda took a new and sensitive initiative. He called the Panches and Sarpanches of the concerned villages on the spot so that local level problems could be discussed immediately. After this, the Minister went to SMC and each class and had direct dialogue with the students and took detailed information from them about the level of studies, availability of books and other problems.
The Education Minister gave instructions on the spot that the problems which can be solved at the Panchayat or Sarpanch level should be solved immediately with the help of local administration and Panchayat. While the issues which come under the jurisdiction of the Education Department, the Minister gave a concrete assurance to solve them as soon as possible on priority basis.
**Plan for transformation of 1500 government schools
During this, the Education Minister said that the Education Department of Haryana is fully committed to developing the government schools of the state as model educational institutions. For this, the department has prepared a detailed and phased plan.
In the first phase of the plan, 1500 government schools of the state have been identified, where better educational environment, modern basic facilities and necessary resources will be made available. After the completion of this first phase, all other government schools will also be renovated in a phased manner so that quality education can be ensured in government schools on the lines of private schools.
**Strict stance on negligence and emphasis on cleanliness
Education Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda instructed the departmental officers that any kind of laxity or negligence in the operation of government educational institutions will not be tolerated. While interacting with teachers and principals, he said that teachers should discharge their responsibility with full devotion and dedication. He gave instructions to pay special attention to cleanliness in schools and said that a clean environment is the basis for the all-round development of children.
**Education Minister who gets down to the ground
It is noteworthy that Shri Mahipal Dhanda has emerged as the first Education Minister of the state who is himself going to the ground and inspecting government schools and ensuring solution of problems on the spot. This attitude of the Minister is setting a new direction for ground-level change in the field of education.
Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda has already conducted surprise inspections of 3 government colleges and 5 government schools of the state in recent days. Due to these continuous visits, accountability has increased among the officers and employees of the Education Department, while trust in the government education system is getting strengthened among the general public and students.
