Karnal, October 30: ADC Sonu Bhatt said that a district-level program on Haryana Day will be organized with great enthusiasm and zeal on November 1st in the auditorium of Kalpana Chawla Medical College. Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal will attend the program as the chief guest. Considering the importance of the program, all concerned officials should perform their duties with utmost dedication and ensure all preparations are completed on time.
ADC Sonu Bhatt was giving instructions to officials at a meeting regarding the preparations for the district-level Haryana Day celebrations at the ADC office on Thursday. He said that November 1st is celebrated as the day of the formation of Haryana. It is a matter of pride for all of us. Therefore, everyone should participate enthusiastically in this event. He directed that the concerned officials ensure the participation of people from all walks of life, including public representatives and dignitaries. He directed the District Education Officer and District Higher Education Officer to prepare students for participation in these events. All activities should be theme-based. Winning participants will be honored with prizes.
He stated that the Haryana Day program will be organized in a grand and dignified manner, with spectacular cultural performances based on Haryanvi folk arts being the center of attraction. Students from colleges and schools in the district will present impressive performances based on Haryanvi culture. These activities will include group dances, solo dances, raginis, orchestras, and painting. He announced that a state-level program will be held in Panchkula to commemorate Haryana Day, with Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh as the chief guest, and Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini will grace the event. The state-level program will also be broadcast virtually at the district-level program.
On this occasion, CTM Monica Sharma, DDPO Kanchan Lata, Deputy Corporation Commissioner Abhay Singh, XEN Sandeep Singh, DHEO Dr. Anita June, WCDPO Meena Ratan and officers of other departments were present.
