Chandigarh, March 11:- Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University Hisar will organize a two-day Agriculture Fair Kharif on March 23 and 24 with the aim of making farmers aware of advanced technologies of Kharif crops. Farmers, agricultural scientists, agricultural entrepreneurs, various departments and institutions from across the state will participate in the fair.
The university spokesperson said that the main objective of this agriculture fair is to provide information related to the latest varieties of Kharif crops, advanced agricultural technologies, conservation of natural resources and agricultural mechanization to the farmers. During the fair, scientists of the university will give detailed information to the farmers about advanced varieties of paddy, cotton, bajra, pulses and oilseed crops and scientific management.
The fair will feature various exhibitions related to crop production techniques, pest and disease management, water conservation, soil health, agricultural mechanization, horticulture, animal husbandry and beekeeping for farmers. Apart from this, exhibitions of agricultural equipment, improved seeds, organic products and agro-based industries will also be organized.
