Haroli/Una, June 4 (Rajveer Chopra): On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Haroli Block Industrial Organization will organize a special tree plantation drive in the Bela Bathri Industrial Area. This event is scheduled to take place on June 5 at 10:00 AM, and will be attended by representatives of industrial units, office bearers of the organization, and local dignitaries.
Providing details regarding the initiative, Rakesh Kaushal, President of the Haroli Block Industrial Organization, stated that environmental conservation has become the most pressing need of the hour.
He emphasized that planting as many trees as possible—and ensuring their proper care—is a collective responsibility shared by all of us in order to tackle the challenges posed by rising pollution and climate change. With this objective in mind, the organization is organizing this tree plantation program in the Bela Bathri Industrial Area.
He further informed that during this drive, saplings of various species—specifically those that provide shade and are beneficial to the environment—will be planted. Additionally, members of the organization will take a pledge to regularly nurture and protect the planted saplings, thereby ensuring that future generations inherit a clean and green environment.
Rakesh Kaushal has appealed to all entrepreneurs, employees, and local residents associated with the industrial area to participate enthusiastically in this campaign. He remarked that if every individual were to plant and care for at least one sapling during their lifetime, it would constitute a significant contribution toward the cause of environmental conservation.
This tree plantation drive, organized on the occasion of World Environment Day, is being hailed as a pivotal step toward raising environmental awareness and fostering the creation of a "Green Haroli."
