Chandigarh- Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains has demanded a special train to be run on 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. In this regard, Harjot Bains has written a letter to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu today.
In the letter, he demanded that a special Vande Bharat train and other special trains be run for Sri Anandpur Sahib on the centenary of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. He said that on this great holy day, lakhs of crores of devotees from the country and abroad are expected to reach Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, special trains should be run from Delhi, Maharashtra, Patna, Amritsar and other states. Mr. Bains expressed the hope that Ashwini Vaishnav and Ravneet Singh Bittu would definitely accept this request while respecting the sentiments of the Sikh community.
