Hoshiarpur:- Sardar Hardev Singh Kausal, former Punjab President of Lok Insaaf Party (BC Wing), National President of Ramgarhia Sikh Organisation India, Punjab President of Civil Defence Legal Services India and former General Council Member of Shiromani Akali Dal Badal, along with his colleagues joined the Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit in the presence of Giani Harpreet Singh.
In a simple and impressive ceremony held at Goniana Mandi, Giani Harpreet Singh, President of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit, warmly welcomed Sardar Hardev Singh Kausal and his colleagues by presenting them with Siropas.
On this occasion, along with Hardev Singh Council, Sarabjit Singh Bansal, Gurdev Singh (Retd. Ex-Officer), Jagseer Singh Dhiman Barnala, Karnail Singh Bathinda, Harvinder Singh Bahiya Bathinda, Gursewak Singh Council, Karnail Singh and Baljit Singh joined the Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit party.
On this occasion, Giani Harpreet Singh warmly welcomed Sardar Hardev Singh Council along with his colleagues on joining the party and said that the joining of an impeccable personality like Council in the Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit is an important step towards Panthic unity and ideal politics which proves that the soul of the Akali leaders who went to other parties due to the oppression of the Badal family is still traditional Akali and now the way is open for their return home.
In his address on this occasion, Sardar Hardev Singh Council thanked Giani Harpreet Singh and said that the formation of Shiromani Akali Dal Pun Surjit under his leadership has given Akali workers, who were disgruntled with the dictatorship of the Badal family, a chance to return home. He assured that in the coming times, he will leave no stone unturned to strengthen the party and to connect the traditional Akali families with the party.
Paramjit Singh Billu, Labh Singh, Tarlochan Singh Dhiman, Balwinder Singh Bhogal, Surinder Singh Bhogal, Harsewak Singh Baiya, Surjit Singh Boparai, Charanjit Singh Bathinda (Executive Committee Member) and Rajwinder Singh Rana (Senior Vice President Urban District Bathinda) were also present on this occasion.
